Abstract

The present article describes an a/r/tographic research carried out with an immigrant community as collective artistic action. It is a project based on the construction of a Web as a device that activates situations and discourses derived from the process of artistic creation. In this way, the article is organized according to an introduction in which we justify the interest that moves us to consider the research proposal a/r/ tographic. Next, we show a section where we analyze the role of digital media as a communication tool and agency linked to this research experience. In the following part we explain the investigative process describing the methodological approach, the design of the research proposal and the actions developed based on collective artistic practice. Finally, by way of conclusion, we expose a section elaborated from the sharing with the collective and the reflections and thoughts that derive from the creative process developed with the community. Therefore, the importance of the collective process based not only on artistic action as a form of knowledge but also as learning and understanding of a social reality in which we are submerged.

María Martínez Morales, University of Jaén

She is an artist, researcher and teacher at the University of Jaén. He studied Fine Arts at the Alonso Cano School in Granada, Master in Research in Arts, Music and Aesthetic Education at the University of Jaén and Master's Degree in Secondary Education at the University of Granada, finishing his PhD studies at the University of Jaén. Researches in the area of ​​Didactics of Musical, Plastic, and Corporal Expression, at the University of Jaén. He is a member of the research group PAI Hum 862- "Studies in Society, Arts and Cultural Management". It investigates artistic action as a collective cultural practice or device that activates experiences with different communities and contexts from an a/r/tographic perspective. He participates with his actions and interventions in the field of collaborative artistic practices and carries out different congresses of artistic research: Retales, Universidad de Jaén (2013); Interwoven lives. Body, memory and place, University of Porto (2015); The body as narrative, University of Lisbon (2015); Throw stories. Aalto University in Finland (2016); "Walking ..." How to Write and Defend an Artistic Thesis? Society for Artistic Research, the Royal Academy of Art and the Royal Conservatoire, The Hague, The Netherlands (2016), among others, and participating in international research projects such as CREARTE, funded by the European Union, is an Erasmus + KA2 - Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices Partnerships for School Education, Teaching Innovation Project "Project-Based Learning in Higher Education."
